My path began with intensive studies at prestigious institutions like Jazz Studio and Musicians Institute Hollywood.

Since founding Guitar Studio in 2000 and co-founding Groove Hunter Entertainment, I have passionately guided aspiring musicians. My newest venture, the Baustein Method (Roadmap To Guitar Mastery), is an exclusive personal coaching program designed to elevate your guitar skills to professional levels.
My love for guitar and music was nurtured at the Antwerp Jazz Studio and the Musicians Institute Hollywood, College Of Contemporary Music. These experiences taught me that music goes beyond “finger plucking” or band performances; it embodies a holistic approach to musicality. In Los Angeles, I had the privilege of learning from former KISS producer Kenny Kerner. Kenny’s straightforward and honest mentoring style was invaluable and left a lasting impact on me.

Guitar Training Studio, also known simply as “Guitar Studio,” was founded in 2000 by producer, composer, and performer Wouter Baustein. It all began when individuals approached him to learn guitar.
At Guitar Studio, our motto is “Learn music by playing, don’t play music by learning!” This alternative teaching approach, influenced by “The American Way” in which Baustein was trained, has been enthusiastically embraced by our students. As a result, Guitar Studio quickly gained popularity, receiving applications from across Belgium.
Wouter Baustein, a prominent figure as a producer, composer, and performer, made Guitar Studio his full-time pursuit alongside live performances and music production. Over the years, Guitar Studio has established itself as a leading institution in Belgium, renowned for delivering high-quality, no-nonsense training suitable for all levels – from beginners to professionals, spanning all age groups.
Our offerings have expanded to include electric and acoustic guitar lessons, drum lessons, band coaching through live playing workshops, songwriting, composition, and ear training. Choosing Guitar Studio means opting for more than just guitar instruction. While basic guitar tutorials abound online, we prioritize top-notch quality, expertise, and a contemporary educational approach. Notably, Guitar Studio is NO school.
